"Gateway to a Professional Career in Pharmaceutical Care"
The Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) at DCHPE Dumka is a foundational 2-year technical program. It is specifically designed to train students in the art and science of preparing and dispensing medicines. Approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), this course qualifies students to practice as Registered Pharmacists, enabling them to manage retail pharmacies or work in hospital dispensaries.
Graduates are eligible to open their own Medical Store, work as Community Pharmacists, or serve as Hospital Pharmacists. It also provides a lateral entry pathway into the second year of the B.Pharm degree program.
Practical training in inventory, legal regulations, and pharmacy ethics.
Focus on community health, hygiene, and patient counseling.
Hands-on experience in high-tech Chemistry and Pharmacognosy labs.
500 hours of mandatory practical training in government hospitals.
